Terms and Conditions of Sale


  • 1.1 The price of each product is displayed with the product, in the event of a product being on special, this price will be displayed.
  • 1.2 All prices are quoted in South Africa Rands (ZAR)
  • 1.3 All prices include VAT at the rate of 14%.
  • 1.4 Shipping costs are calculated in accordance to region of delivery and is calculated by the weight of each product.
  • 1.5 EO&E - Errors Omissions & Excepted - all precautions will be taken to provide correct pricing, however in the event that an error does occur, no liability can be held against IntelloHOME to provide such products, at such pricing.


  • 2.1 All deliveries will be delivered within 3-5 working days, taking into consideration the availability of stock and region.
  • 2.2 Where delays and out of stock situations occur, every effort will be made to inform the buyer.
  • 2.3 The courier will request proof of identity from the person receiving the goods and will be required to record such details on the invoice
  • 2.4 By signing such invoice document, the receiver confirms that the goods were received undamaged and in good condition.
  • 2.5 In the unlikely event that the goods arrive damaged or items may be missing, and the receiver wishes not to accept the items, then they must indicate on the waybill the reasons for sending the parcel back and both parties will need to co-sign against this indication.
  • 2.6 In the event of IntelloHOME being given an incorrect delivery address or no one is present to receive the item at the time of delivery, the delivery will be returned to our shop, and we will then contact you to re-schedule the delivery. Please note that you will be charged the delivery fee again, as we use contract delivery teams and we are charged for each delivery, and in turn this fee will be passed onto the purchaser.


  • 3.1 Credit Card payments
    • 3.1.1 At the time of placing the order, the transaction details are presented to the bank and an authorisation is obtained for the amount of the order.
    • 3.1.2 To protect against fraud, and for warranty reasons, IntelloHOME requires proof of identification (ID book or Driver’s licence) to be presented at every CR or DR card transaction. A copy of this identification will be made and kept at our offices. Any transaction may be refused if IntelloHOME is not completely satisfied with its legitimacy.
    • 3.1.3 Only VISA and Mastercard accepted.
  • 3.2 Bank Deposit
    • 3.2.1 If the buyer chooses to pay via EFT or bank deposit, items can only be collected or delivered once the payment reflects in IntelloHOME’s account.  IntelloHOME Bank Account Details are as follows:

    • 3.2.2 The exact amount must be paid
    • 3.2.3 Please identify your payment by supplying the invoice number and surname in the reference section of the deposit slip or on the electronic transfer.  Please email proof of purchase to
    • 3.2.4 No transfers to be made from ATM's
    • 3.2.5 Cheque deposits will be subject to a 21 day clearance period


  • 4.1 Should IntelloHOME supply the incorrect product, or if the product is damaged or faulty, IntelloHOME shall exchange the unit for a new one, provided that the damaged unit is returned in its original packaging with all warranty cards, manuals and accessories. Certain made to order items may only be returned for replacement but not for refund.
  • 4.2 IntelloHOME works on a seven day refund policy.
  • 4.3 Cash refunds will not be given, and any monies due will be paid back into the customer’s bank account.  Credit card refunds require the original CR card invoice and slip, and the card to be presented.  Proof of ID must be available if requested.
  • 4.4 Your purchase comes with a Manufacturer’s Warranty.  Please read the details of the Warranty carefully.  Also, read the manual carefully and install all items according to the manual, as any damages due to incorrect installation will not be covered by the Manufacturer’s Warranty.  If the item has been altered in any way, the Warranty will also fall away.
  • 4.5 Items for repair need to be returned to the store by the Customer, ideally in their original packaging, but definitely with warranty and original tax invoice and proof of purchase.   The item will be returned to the Manufacturer for repair by IntelloHOME.  Quotes will only be given if repair exceeds R1200 exc.  If quotation is not accepted or repair is not economically viable, a handling fee of R450.00 exc will be charged.  Items repaired and not collected within 3 months will be sold to defray expenses.   Items will be released when full payment is received for the repair.  Good that are altered will lose their warranty immediately.
  • 4.6 Only items returned within 7 days in their original, unopened packaging, and original invoice will be refunded.  Opened items will not be exchanged after 7 days.  Within 7 days, a handling fee of 25% will be charged.


  • 5.1 IntelloHOME may use your information to contact you about promotions and special offers. You are entitled, at any stage, to opt out of this service. We do not sell or rent personal information about individual members (such as name, address, email address, telephone or fax number) to third parties. IntelloHOME may disclose personal information in response to a specific request by a law enforcement agency, subpoena, court order, or as required by law.


  • 6.1 In the event of any dispute of any nature whatsoever arising between the parties on any matter provided for in, or arising out of this agreement, and not solved between the user and IntelloHOME, shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in terms of the expedited rules of the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa.


  • 7.1 IntelloHOME chooses its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communications of whatsoever nature as, Shop L57 La Lucia Mall, La Lucia.
